We want this site to work for you, whatever your eyes, hands or attention are doing today. Here’s what you can change, what’s built in, and what still isn’t right.
Change how the site looks and sounds
Press the Aa button at the top of any page, or “Display options” in the footer. You can:
- Make the text larger, in two steps.
- Turn on high contrast: brighter text, clearer borders, underlined links.
- Switch on calm mode to stop the moving backgrounds and animations.
- Switch on easy reading for more space between lines, words and letters.
- Have a page read aloud, with a pause button and three speeds.
Your choices are saved in your browser on this device. You don’t need an account, and nothing is sent to us.
What’s already built in
- You can use every page with a keyboard, and there’s a “Skip to content” link at the top.
- Text colors meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Animations stop on their own if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The video on the home page has captions and a written description.
- Links that open a new tab say so.
What isn’t perfect yet
- Reading aloud uses the voice built into your device and browser, so how it sounds depends on them. Prompt boxes are skipped.
- A few small labels stay small until you pick a larger text size.
- We check the pages ourselves. We haven’t had an outside accessibility audit.
- Downloads like PDF guides are made separately from the site, and we haven’t checked them as closely. If one doesn’t work for you, tell us and we’ll do our best to get you a version that does.
- Gumroad, Etsy and our email provider are separate sites. Their accessibility is up to them.
